Merry Christmas!!!

We hope you all had a very merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve opening one present... (PJ's)

Christmas Morning before opening presents...
We were thrilled that the kids didn't wake up until 6:30ish... Savannah was the last one awake at 10 to 7:00. We all sat on Mom's bed and read the Christmas story (Luke 2) then it was time for the presents.

We made an orange roll wreath for breakfast!

Santa must have found this hat in the back of his closet... I am surprised he could even put it in his bag after the cougs lost so bad the other night.

The kids got swing seats under the tree, when we went out to put them on the old swing set we found that Santa had his elves build a new one!!! Miles is enjoying it already.

Scott's new blog

Jane will no longer have my wild and crazy political posts to interrupt our family fun blog...

I have started a new blog for my crazy rants and wild thoughts about politics, the constitution and the market . Your welcome to peak in but beware....."You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed, and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you just how deep the rabbit hole goes."

We took our favorite bread dough and cut it up into a pull-apart loaf... add cinnamon and sugar... bake for 30 minutes and pour a cold glass of milk!

1st Big Snow!!

We had a killer snow storm over the past 48 hours..... The kids had a great time playing and Miles is getting pretty good and shoveling the walks! Along with the snow came the COLD!!!
I am not a fan of the cold.... One thing that I really don't like about Idaho (Utah isn't much better).... it's stinkin' cold....
In a perfect world we would spend winter someplace warm.

Tonight we decorated the house.... The kids have been asking to do it for a week. It's been crazy around here and we haven't had time but tonight we got festive.

We also made muffins... just a few.... (130 to be exact). These are meant to be consumed by our home and visiting teaching families. Eat up!!

The kids were so excited to finally have all the decorations up. It really was a fun night. It's even better now that the kids are in bed and the house is dead quiet. ahhhhhh......peace on earth.....
