Savannah and Briggs share a birthday and Sam has his a week before. So we partied quite a bit the past week.

Funny Boys
So a few funny pictures- Sam was being funny looking at the ceiling. He is crazy.

Eating dinner wore him out. We were all surprised to look over and see him asleep. We had to take a picture.
Funny Boys!
Briggs loves his salad!! This is usually what he asks for for lunch almost every day. I think he is turning into his dad.
Sam is growing and is excited for spring!!
Happy Birthday Savannah & Briggs
Savannah turned 5 and Briggs turned 2 on the 6th of August.
Savannah is so excited to go to Kindergarten this year. She is so sweet and always walking in the room with an "I love you mama." and a kiss.
Briggs is talking more and more everyday. He is so sweet and so funny. His newest thing is to tap your shoulder and say "hey, watch!" , "ready set go" .
We love you, and we are so proud of you both!!!
Briggs got a noise gun that shoots Nerf bullets. I've heard people say, that if you don't buy boys a gun, they will make one out of anything, or everything. In Briggs case this is so true.
Savannah has been asking for a doll that poops and pees for about a year now. She asked for it for her birthday last year and for Christmas, and anytime there might be a present for any occasion. We told her that even though Santa knows what she wants he has to follow Mom and Dad's rules and the rules are that we can't have dolls that make messes. We finally gave in.
Scott kept saying I can't believe I bought THAT toy. What do you do when that is the only thing they want and you find it on clearance? Yep, you give in and buy it!!
Kid Photos
Today between conference we went to the park and took a few pictures. Miles was not into it so he just helped to get the kids to smile.
New Camera
Scott has been saving for a new camera for about 4 months. He finally bought it last week. So far this is about all we got.
Pruning Trees
I know it doesn't sound like fun to many of you. But I really enjoy pruning trees. Today was a great day to prune. The sun was out and it was pretty warm for the middle of February. The kids were at a primary activity and so Briggs and I worked in the yard. Here is Briggs helping hold down all the branches as we moved them.

Briggs was cleaning the cabinets with a wipe the other night. It was pretty cute. He was working soooo hard.

Briggs has also gotten into shoes lately. Everybody's shoes. These happen to be Savannah's boots. He really thinks he is hot stuff.
The Boys New Beds
With us knowing about our future addition to the family in July we have been thinking of getting bunk beds for the boys. After checking some out and thinking about it (and hearing that Scott's friend Tanner was planning to build some) Scott decided to make some bunk beds. They took about 3 weeks and really turned out pretty great.
1st Big Snow!!
We had a killer snow storm over the past 48 hours..... The kids had a great time playing and Miles is getting pretty good and shoveling the walks! Along with the snow came the COLD!!!
I am not a fan of the cold.... One thing that I really don't like about Idaho (Utah isn't much better).... it's stinkin' cold....
In a perfect world we would spend winter someplace warm. :)
Saving some for later...
We finished off some homemade blackberry jam (YUM!) But Briggs wanted some later....

He must have needed a bath. I came in and he had helped himself up to the sink, sat down and turned the water on. Really we are lucky he didn't burn himself or flood the bathroom.
LAST SWIM
It has been such a fun year swimming at Grandpas!!! We can't believe it's time to close it up for the winter. We went for one more last swim. It's so nice... clean, clear water with no crowds to deal with. Miles and Lilly are really great swimmers now. Miles was showing off his "backstroke" to us tonight.
So if you look close you can see a callus on my second toe. I can only imagine it's from running. Well as we were all looking at it.... Briggs decided he wanted to look at his too...
What a cute kid.
Thanks Grandpa!!!! We can't wait for JUNE!!!!
