Ethiopians

Jane's Brother and his family are currently living in Ethiopia and had vacation leave to the States for the month. We were so excited!
We had so much fun. It was so great to see the kids play so well together.

Camping

We try to go camping a few times a year. Life is crazy busy and it's nice to relax in the outdoors.
This year we went to Andersons Cove at Pineview- we really like it because of the big shade trees and the proximity to the lake! :)

The weather was great! Cooler at night- perfect during the day. We all had a blast.

Jane's Dad

We recently learned of some health concerns for Jane's Dad.

He had surgery and we were thinking of an excuse to go see him.
A few hours after our West Fest 5k run we were looking for lunch....
We decided that we needed lunch at Subway... but not just any Subway- the one in Plymouth Utah (it's about half way). After we picked up sandwiches we figured that "since were so close we should just go up and see Grandpa and Grandma". Ha ha!
It was great to visit them.

We don't know what the Lord has planned but we hope for the best and trust in Him.

West Fest 5k

Our family usually participates in the West Fest 5k ever year. It's a pretty fun- flat race and the price is reasonable.
Miles and Lilly both ran it this year with Jane.

RAGNAR 2011

This year Jane joined the RAGNAR craze.

It's a 30 hour road trip from Logan to Park City in a van of stinky, sweaty running freaks.
It was a fun experience to run together. We are grateful that the Moellers watched our kids for us so we could do it. It was also our 14 year anniversary. What a way to celebrate- huh?

Lilly's Birthday

Happy Birthday Lilly - 9 years old! Instead of cake- she wanted Jell-O.

MOAB

The past few years due to projects Scott was involved with in the Moab area, we have been able to go to Moab in May as a family. It's been so fun and we have had a great time. The projects are done so we don't know when we will be back. Wilson Arch

Newspaper Rock- Way cool!

We also visited the Dinosaur museum in Blanding Utah. It was a great trip.

African Resturant

Our family who currently lives in Ethiopia are coming to the states soon... We are so excited!
We heard of an African market that also has a restaurant on yelp.com so we checked it out.

It was actually pretty good. The bread (injera) is more like a pancake/tortilla and is pretty blah.. but the meats were yummy.

Miles & Lilly's Field Trip

Miles and Lilly were able to go to Kennecott Utah Copper Pit for a field trip.

As close as we are to this - we have never gone as a family.

Funny Boys
