Spring Break!!

1

We decided to take a family trip to southern Utah for Spring Break. We also had Jane's parents join us for the fun! What we didn't plan on, was a big snow storm to hit the night/morning we were heading down. The drive down was not fun...once we arrived, we hoped it would have been a bit warmer. Bryce was pretty cold. But, everyone had a great time and made the most of it and it really was some amazing country.

After a day in Bryce, we headed to St. George. The real highlight was the swimming pool at the hotel. The kids loved it.

We also visited the St. George Temple and walked around the temple grounds and then went to The Jacob Hamblin Home in Santa Clara. It was alot of fun!

On our way home we stopped at Cove Fort for a quick tour. Scott asked Savannah after the tour what she thought... she hesitated and then said... " It was quite boring". Ha ha... She is so cute!

We had a great weekend hanging out, and spending time together. We are grateful for the safety and fun we were blessed with. We are so glad G & G Miles could come with us to make these fun memories.

Jane had a Baby shower to throw for a good neighbor so Scott took the kids for a field trip. They hopped on Trax and when downtown for lunch. The kids loved it!!! Scott was amazed at the different walks of life you see on Trax. Pretty crazy on a Saturday Morning.

Happy Birthday Miles!!

Miles turned 9!!!

We hope he had a great day!
A new tradition we have started, that once they turn 8 they can go on a date with Mom & Dad.
Miles got to pick out where we would goto dinner. It was a lot of fun. We made sure to ask him what goals he had for his 9th year and what he thinks he could improve on.

It was great!

Tears....

1

Scott has begun to run to the camera when the kids start crying hysterically. We hope the kids will enjoy these photos when they have kids of their own.
Briggs, crying because I we took his coat off....
Sam, crying with a mouth full of food. He cries if you don't feed him fast enough, if you don't let him hold the spoon, if you feed him too fast, if you look at him funny while he eats.... yada yada yada... Actually he could be crying because we made him wear a PINK bib... or it could have been that he had his 6 month Dr. appointment and had shots.....

Good times!!!

Shooting Pool at Grandpa's

We took the kids to Grandpa Harmon's House for a little fun. He has a great game room in the basement! Miles is getting pretty good at shooting pool. We had a great time and love spending time with Grandpa!

Spaghetti dogs

We saw this dinner in a magazine and thought it would be fun for the kids.

Just let them stick the hotdog with Spaghetti like a little voodoo doll.
Cook until Spaghetti is soft.....

They thought it was great fun!

New Years Eve we made doughnuts!!! They were so yummy and the kids loved them.

New Years Morning we went to breakfast with G & G Miles and Karen's family. It was a lot of fun and we should make it a family tradition. If you go early enough... (8:00 AM) you have the whole place to yourself.

Sam is growing ... as you can see. The girls like to mother him. He had the princess crown and a big smile on.

Scott went to St. George last month and all he brought back was this photo.

Our ward was split in half and dissolved. Scott was in the Bishopric. Now the whole ward is released. It will be nice to sit in church as a family again. We will miss seeing some of the ward members every week, but we are excited for the future.

Christmas Morning 2009

1

We had a wonderful Christmas Morning!! We heard Lilly wake up about 6:00 a.m. and wake up Savannah. "Savannah, it's Christmas Morning, Santa came!!" We expected them to run in our room and ask to go downstairs....but they went back to sleep until 7:00. Miles came in at 7:00 and we told him he could wake the rest of the gang up. We all sat on our bed and read the Nativity story and talked about Jesus and why we celebrate. We talked about the gifts that Jesus was given at his birth and the gifts he gave us.

The kids were ready for the talking to stop and the fun to begin....
On the way down..... they were so excited!!!

Watch out... they will run you over!!!

He is a happy boy!!

It was our funnest Christmas Morning so far... All the kids were excited and were thrilled with the presents. Briggs was hilarious. Once he saw the train.... he could not be stopped.
